Jerusalem Outreach Ministry
“…you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
The Jerusalem Outreach Ministry was originally introduced as “Jerusalem Walk”, a new ministry formed to serve the needs of our neighbors to the best of our ability in 2009. Jerusalem Walk was supported by the Women of Gracious Saviour (WOGS) and donated household supplies to elderly couples. The Men of Gracious Saviour (MOGS) donated lunch to the volunteers who participated in the Jerusalem Walk.
In 2010, Jerusalem Walk became the Jerusalem Outreach Ministry to serve people in a 3-block radius of Gracious Saviour, Vassar to Pembroke and the Lodge to Mark Twain.
The Jerusalem Outreach Ministry community activities are assistance and support for seniors, a food pantry, Ice Cream Social and Back to School supplies, Trunk or Treat, Senior Lunch and Movie Day, Spaghetti Dinner, Food Baskets for Thanksgiving, and Last-Minute Christmas, where we provided coats, hats and toys for children.
The Jerusalem Outreach Ministry celebrated 13 years of Jazz on the Lawn. Jazz on the Lawn is a time of relaxation, fellowship with family and friends, and just enjoy yourselves in community. Take in the beauty of God’s nature, and the blessed talents of Freestyle Band. This is an event free to the community, all are welcome. Bring your lawn chair.

In 2022, we celebrated our 13th year of Jazz On The Lawn with our community. We are thankful for our members, volunteers, vendors, and Freestyle Band. Jazz On The Lawn is a success year after year because of them! We thank God for all of you!
